QuickFile365 can be installed in several ways, depending on how you want to deploy it and whether you need the Send & File feature.

Single-User Installation

QuickFile365 is available on Microsoft AppSource. However, due to some platform limitations, the AppSource version does not include the Send and File feature.

Administrators can deploy QuickFile365 centrally to users through the Microsoft 365 Admin Center.

The Admin Center deployment includes the Send & File feature.

Note: A customized manifest is required for deployment. Please contact QuickFile365 Support to request your customized manifest before proceeding.

1. Open Microsoft 365 admin center (Integrated apps). If necessary, sign in to Microsoft with your organization’s Microsoft 365 global admin account.

2. Click Upload custom apps. In the wizard, select Office Add-in as the app type. Under Choose how to upload your app, select Upload manifest file (.xml) from device, then select the customized manifest file provided by the QuickFile365 Support Team. Once the manifest has been uploaded and successfully validated, click Next.

3. On the next page of the wizard, you’ll see the Assign Users options:

    • Entire organization
    • Specific users/groups
    • Just me

Select the appropriate option. If you’re using Specific users/groups, you can search for users in the text field.
Note:
For testing purposes, do not select “Entire organization”. We recommend deploying the add-in to a few users using the Specific users/groups option.

4. Click Next. The App permissions and capabilities page will appear. Make sure to accept the permissions for QuickFile365.

5. After accepting permissions, click Next to proceed to the Review and Finish Deployment page.

6. Click Finish deployment.
